On the night of May 17 Rohan developed a fever that hovered between 103 and 105 the whole night. The next morning we took him to the pediatrician. The doctor said he was marginally dehydrated. So we took him to thepediatric emergency room. A few hours later they told us that in addition to ear infection he had pneumonia and a throat infection. His blood sugar was low, the white blood count was high and he was dehydrated. He was hooked to an ivy to pump fluid, antibiotic and sugar into him. Here he is in the emergency room bed.
